Charlotte is soo cute, we can't wait to see her and Jack (oh and you and Wade too!) Cole has been asking everyday when we are going to Yessicka's...it's a little hard for him to say it, but he wants to go today!

Hi Jess, was just looking at your mums blog- the post regarding the twins, one of them her grandmother born in 1887.

I wonder how they were delivered - does your Mum know? Not sure if caesarians were thought of or performed then? It would have been pretty scary anyway I think if it hadnt been straight forward and they might not have even known they were carrying twins back then.

As a Midwife- I cant imagine practising in those times when technology was limited and so many women and children died in childbirth from complications?!

Hi Denise! I have NO idea what they did. I should ask my mom if she knows anything. I've often wondered that too (well, just in general about giving birth to twins). I totally agree...It would have been so scary to give birth back then...especially without drugs! lol. No, it's amazing that people were able to have kids.
