Can't Decide
Well, I keep changing the background. I might be changing it for a little bit til I finally decide on one. There are so many out there! So tell me if you like this one or whatever one I put on the blog the next time you visit.
Well, I was a bit homesick for New Zealand so thought I'd post some memories from my pictures on the computer. I would put way more on but I can't be bothered going through the cds for more so you can just have a taste of what I experienced. But I do have to say, you MUST visit NZ. It is absolutely gorgeous, full of warm and friendly people, and just plain awesome. I really do miss it and wish we could go back and visit right now! So I've put on some New Zealand bands in the playlist...Goldenhorse, Nesian Mystik and The exponents. Take a listen! The other songs within the first 1/3 of the playlist are songs that make me think of NZ because I heard them there.
Easter Sunday! Can you find Charlotte in the bunnies? ha ha. Charlotte's first Easter which was in New Zealand.
Our Lexus! Yep, except in New Zealand it's the Toyota Wyndom. This was our most favorite car and best looking car we've ever owned. We really do miss it!
Hamilton Lake! A lake close by our house in Temple View. It has a Maori name but can't think of it....similar to "Rotorua".Raglan beach! Charlotte's first trip to Raglan. It has black sand and amazing waves. No wonder the surfing championships take place there! You see so many surfers there too. It is absolutely gorgeous. Whenever we listen to any Jack Johnson songs, I always think of driving to Raglan.

Under a little construction
Well, I decided it's time for a new look because we added Jack! Might as well make another change. I'm just trying to figure out a new header but until then, it won't match too much! But if you want a new blog background... www.thecutestblogontheblock.com. TONS and tons of different backgrounds and it's crazy how easy it is to do!

Just have to share with everyone that Charlotte climbed up the stairs by herself a few nights ago! We have to be behind her because she still loses her balance and may fall all the way down but we'll do that until she can finally be strong enough to have no supervision! We're so proud of her and she's very determined. She's been working on her crawling for a few weeks now. She's been able to go about 8 feet with a little break in the middle. She loves to stand and toddle along the couch and walls, etc. But her favorite thing of the week is to stand against the entertainment center and face you and then go into a somersault! She thinks it's the greatest thing in the world. Jack is doing great, getting bigger and bigger! He still sleeps all the time and loves to eat. Go figure! ha ha. Charlotte is extremely protective of Jack. The other day I ventured out to Walmart by myself and Charlotte started to whine/get upset when we pulled into a parking spot. And I didn't think anything of it and she was pointing at Jack and Jack's head was forward in his blanket. She was very upset until I readjusted his head. How sweet! And she has to make sure he's in the car or cart first before her so he's safe.
We're all adjusting to having two kids, and I'm adjusting to Wade being gone at work too! I take it one day at a time and each day is getting a little easier. But I'm looking forward to the weekends where he'll be able to help all day! ha ha.

Jack almost fits the AB outfit!
We bought this outfit before we left NZ in 2004. Charlotte never wore it...seemed too boyish but Jack looks like a real All Blacks fan!!

Jack had his two week visit on Aug. 7, 2008. He now weighs 9lbs 5 oz....well, I'm sure he's more by now. And was 22 1/2 inches long. He grew two inches (subjective I know...but still!). He's growing out of his cute newborn clothes that friends gave us but still is little even though I know he's getting huge. It's so different from Charlotte since she was so little for so long. He's starting to lose his hair which makes me sad. But he's still got a lot of it! He's been such a joy to have. He just sleeps and eats! Doesn't cry much unless he wants to be held. And Charlotte is sooo good to him. She gives him kisses all the time. She is starting to be really clingy to me and wants to be held when she can scoot to the next room by herself. Kind of frustrating but typical behavior people say. Oh well. She's still a great child and couldn't ask for anything more.
Jack is wearing this outfit that belonged to Wade. It is soooooo soft and adorable. Wade came home in this outfit and it's so fun to put the kids in it. Too bad Jack can't fit it anymore. He has gotten so big! I know he's still little to others but he is really growing up. It's sad and exciting at the same time.
