Eating at Firehouse before the Pumpkin Walk

Charlotte had a good time eating next to Kya. We went to Firehouse Pizzeria. Delicious food! Wade apparently had "the best sandwich in the world". So, go to Firehouse if you want a good sandwich. he he. I had a good one too.

Our friends, the Tippets, came up to Logan yesterday. They have a yearly tradition of going to the Pumpkin Walk. This was our second year to go to it. I wanted the kids to dress up in their costumes and walk around. I put Charlotte in this costume for the first time. Bad mistake. I should have tried it on at Target. It is supposed to fit a 2t-3t but if I don't keep the elastic straps under the feet then we should be fine. Charlotte is short for her age so that was irritating. Jack's was doing the same thing. It was to fit up to a 6month but it was tight too. Ahhh. Oh well. I learned my lesson. We didn't end up wearing them because Jack wouldn't have been able to be strapped in his carseat and Charlotte refused. It was still fun and it was FREEZING. So, you wouldn't have been able to see them anyway.

So, I was sitting at the desk and I looked over at Charlotte and she was really working hard at putting her chair in the position you see in the video. And a few minutes later, I saw her reading her books in it. It made me laugh so hard that I had to video her....of course you get my bad filming and terrible narrating! he he. She of course noticed me and so it's not as funny as it was to me. And notice the little glance at the t.v. at the very end?? Obviously had to get a glimpse of Curious George.

Okay, so these aren't of me....they're of the boys I grew up with in the Beaverton 1st Ward. I'll always remember them at this age even though we're all approaching 30...gulp, some of us already are. I was so excited to find them through my friend Shawn Bitter's facebook page! And I was excited to find all the friends I had in Beaverton (I'm new to Facebook) that he had. It was so fun!!!

Pumpkin pickin'

We just got back from picking out pumpkins. We bought two BIG ones for 3 bucks each and two "small" ones for .50cents each. We went to the same place as last year and love going. Charlotte had a fantastic time playing with all the pumpkins. She just loved it. Jack...well, he was just in the stroller trying to get some shut eye.
