I put Jack in his crib the other day with some toys for a nap. This is how I found him! I just love it! The other day I found the cute caterpillar (on the right) on his back too. What's up with that? he he.

Jack enjoying a lollipop

Okay, I know. Lots of the same pictures but I can't help how cute Jack looks. Especially trying his mango lollipop! Wade and I have been having so much experimenting what Jack can eat. He's such a pro at eating. Just watch the lollipop video. I love love love how he slurps!!!

Blonde hairish

I got highlights in my hair the other day from Nicki. She is seriously da bomb. If you live in Logan or want to travel up here for some cute hair, you won't be disappointed. I love my hair!

I hate taking self-portraits...I look like I'm on a photoshoot. Excuse the cheeseball looks. It's just what happens. I can't control it.
My facial expression is weird here too. But don't you love it? I can't wait til I add even more blonde to it! I seriously LOVE MY HAIR!!!

Okay, I tried and tried to get a smiley picture of charlotte but she does not like that flash. so this is blurry cause I took the flash off! ha ha.
Friday we had a hearing test for Charlotte because she responding so well to sound on Wed. and Thursday. There was a little improvement but still well below what she used to be at. We're happy she can hear us more before her surgery that's less than 6 wks away!

Warm and fun outside time!

"Watcha lookin' at?"

"I'm gonna show you all how to do a pushup!"

"Look at this form!"

"Ahem, yes, that's right."

The sun was so bright...I did get a hat on Jack...just after I took these pictures!

Charlotte about to color with her doll.

Charlotte signing Jack's name sign.

Man, these last couple of days (and apparently even until Tuesday) we have had wonderful Spring warm weather! Yessssss!! A nice change from the snow we had a few days ago. I needed to get out of the house after church so we just had a fun time sitting on the grass on the front lawn playing with toys and bubbles.

Easter outfits, one week later.

So I finally got some pictures of the kids in their Easter outfits : D he he. They look so cute. I'm sorry for the dark pictures. Our camera. grrrr. If you need the flash...it's too harsh and if you don't obviously it's blurry. Guess that's what happens when you buy a cheap point n shoot.

Chocolate

For Charlotte's first Easter we gave her a nice big chocolate bunny and let her eat it up!

So we thought we'd make it a tradition and have Jack eat some yummy chocolate too. Notice that it's a chocolate egg? Yep. For you non-kiwis, Easter baskets are filled up of hollow chocolate eggs in New Zealand. There are tons and tons of them at the grocery store!!! And they are usually filled up with other yummy candy. This one was a Cadbury egg with Cadbury mini eggs inside. Yep! I found it at the grocery store. It was manufactured in England too!!! I couldn't believe it and had to buy it for Wade. I was so excited because that was the first time I had seen the chocolate eggs in America! And we got to all share it. yum yum.

All of us eagerly awaiting Dad to open up that chocolate egg!!

Mmmmmmm chocolate......

Don't let his expression fool ya...he was devouring the chocolate! I love how you can see the little smudge of chocolate on his mouth! Isn't he cute?!?!

Fieldtrip!

Charlotte has a video called Max and Ruby. They are about a brother and a sister bunny rabbits. She watches them almost as much as Curious George. So she was SOOOO excited to see the bunnies...until she was asked if she wanted to hold one. he he. So cute!

baaaaaaa

Don't you love how Charlotte pets with a finger? : D

Charlotte was looking at the kids (baby goats...not kid kids...Wouldn't it be funny having kids on display? ha ha)

Jack enjoying the fun in the sun!

Charlotte seems a little unsure of the pony.

Petting the calf, Norman, via her dolly...

Charlotte loved the little chicks.

And Charlotte holding a chick.

Today was a fieldtrip to the American West Heritage Center. An outdoor museum that you can see animals, the way the pioneers used to live, etc. Last year there for my birthday during it's baby animal days. A lot of fun but too many people. Today we went as a normal museum visit and boy! I loved how we were really the only ones there. And pretty much we saw all the baby animals like last year but with a zillion less people and cheaper! There was more stuff going on last year but we only went to see the animals for Charlotte anyway. We had a fun time and enjoyed being with Charlotte's classmates. Wade was able to come since he had a student teacher teaching his last class and didn't have to be there! Yeah! It's fun hanging out as a family.

Easter/My birthday

This is probably the 4th or 5th time that I remember celebrating Easter on my birthday. It's fun cause you get more prezzies : ) he he. I totally forgot to get photos of the kids in their Easter outfits. But Wade picked out the cutest polka dot dress for Charlotte and I tried forever finding a cute vest outfit for Jack. Finally found one at Old Navy. He looks like a cute little golfer. Will have to try and remember to take photos this Sunday. Charlotte loved getting her Easter basket. Jack had fun looking at all the stuff but really, doesn't mean anything yet to him! he he. He got a few matchbox cars but Charlotte's decided that she wanted them even though she got a few things like a bubble stick, sidewalk chalk, etc. Oh well. Jack will get them back someday. Then we had an Easter Egg hunt a little while after we got home from Church. Charlotte's had great practice this last week or so from school. She loved getting the eggs.

I love this picture of Jack. He had just woken up and looked so out of it. he he

For my birthday, Charlotte gave me some chocolate covered cinnamon bears and Jack gave me some Yellow Gerbera Daisy's...my most 2nd favorite flower. And Wade gave me tulips which are my most favorite flower of all!!! Wade also gave me an already paid haircut/color for a present. There's a girl in our Ward who is absolutely amazing at cutting/coloring hair and I'm so excited to get my hair done again! I will definitely post about that : )

So Wade had made me waffles for breakfast and I wanted a nice roast for dinner. We had roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, peas, rolls and cauliflower with cheese sauce. This was my b-day cake...thank you Sam's Club. I was going to have Wade make me a cheesecake but decided I wanted that for Mother's Day. My most favorite dessert is from Olive Garden...Black Tie Mousse Cake. YUMMY. And Wade had a taste of this cake one day visiting Sam's Club and said it tasted very similar. So I decided to go for it. It was absolutely delicious. Quite a close second to Olive Garden's. And we ended the night with the movie Hitch. Thanks for the best day ever, Wade! Even though I hate getting older-you always make me feel special : )

I stopped using Jack's baby bathtub a few months ago and the other day I brought it out to be put away. Of course Charlotte thought that this was the best thing and decided she needed a baby bath for her dolly.
